We offer free returns for FLX Rewards members.
If you are not an FLX Rewards member, a $6.99 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund when using a ReadyReturns label and selecting “Refund.” There is no charge for a ReadyReturns label when requesting an Exchange, as long as the exchange item is in stock.
1. Return to a Store
You may return your item to any Foot Locker store for a refund or exchange.

Important:
Store purchases can no longer be returned by mail to the Distribution Center.
This includes:
- Standard in‑store transactions
- Stock locator orders (placed in-store and shipped from another store)
These must be physically returned to a Foot Locker store.
If you attempt to create a ReadyReturns label for a store purchase, you will receive an error message.
2. Return Online Orders by Mail (ReadyReturns)
If you want to return an online order by mail, access our ReadyReturns portal here.
- You have 45 days from the date of purchase to complete your return or exchange.
- Items must be in new condition, unworn, and packaged in the original box with all tags and packaging included.
- Our guarantee: It'll fit or we’ll exchange it for free!
- Exchanges depend on item availability. If the requested item isn’t available, a refund will be issued instead.
- For items paid for in-store, the Online Returns Team cannot process exchanges by mail. You must visit a store for exchanges. Refunds for instore paid items will be issued via check by mail.
- You'll receive a credit to your original payment method once your items are received and processed.

- On average, returns reach us in 5–6 business days and may take up to 2 weeks to process after delivery.
New Exchange Processing Update
Once your ReadyReturns exchange label is generated, your exchange order is created immediately to reserve inventory right away.
3. Returning Store Purchases by Mail (Updated Policy)
This section has changed.
Store purchases can no longer be mailed to the Distribution Center for returns or exchanges.
They must now be returned in-store only, regardless of payment method or fulfillment location.
4. Exchanges for Orders Originally Shipped to a Store
If you request an exchange on an online order that was originally shipped to a store, your exchange item(s) will be shipped to the same store, unless you request a different shipping address when submitting your return.
Please keep your return tracking number and order number for your records.
The Fine Print
- Suspected defective items must be returned within 45 days for inspection.
If deemed defective, the item will be processed according to our return policy. If not, it will be shipped back to the original address on file. - We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns if you use a shipping method other than our ReadyReturns label.
- Exchanges ship via standard 5–7 business day delivery.
- COD returns are not accepted.
- International returns are not accepted.
- Free return shipping applies only to standard delivery within the contiguous U.S.
- Exchanged items can only be shipped to one address.
The fine print
- If you believe your item is defective, it must be returned within 45 days. The item will be inspected by our Returns Department to determine if there is a manufacturers defect. If the item is deemed defective, we will process a return in accordance with our return policy. If the item is not deemed defective, it will be returned to the original shipping address on file for your order
- We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns when using any shipping method other than our ReadyReturns label. If using your own return shipping service, please keep your return tracking number readily available.
- Exchanges are shipped via standard 5-7 business day shipping.
- We don't accept COD returns.
- We don't accept international returns.
- Exchanged items can only be sent to one address.
