What’s the policy for returns?
Returned or exchanged merchandise must be unworn, in new condition, and include all original tags, boxes, bags, and hang-tags.
Return Timeframe
Returns for online and in‑store purchases must be completed within 45 days of the original shipment or purchase date in order to receive a refund to the original form of payment.
Returns received more than 45 days after shipment will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender.
How to Return Your Items
All returns can be completed in either of the following ways:
- By mail using our ReadyReturns portal (online purchases only)
- At any Foot Locker store using our store locator
Important:
Store purchases can no longer be returned by mail.
This includes in‑store transactions and orders placed in-store but fulfilled by another store (also known as stock locator orders). All store purchases must be returned to a Foot Locker store location. If you attempt to create a return label for a store purchase, you will receive an error message.
Exchanges
Our guarantee: It'll fit or we’ll exchange it for free!
For online orders, exchange orders will now be placed immediately once your ReadyReturns label is generated. This ensures your replacement item is reserved right away.
For items paid for in-store, the Online Returns Team is not able to process exchanges by mail. To exchange these items, please visit any Foot Locker store. If you request a refund for an in‑store paid item, the refund will be issued by check via mail.
Refund Information
- Original shipping fees are non‑refundable, unless the item was defective or incorrect.
- We are not responsible for packages that are not shipped to the correct Returns Center location.
Klarna Refunds
Refunds processed for Klarna orders will be applied to the return value.
- If your refund exceeds the amount paid so far, Klarna will return the difference to your original payment method.
- If the refund is less than the original purchase total, you’re still responsible for paying the remaining Klarna balance.
Refund processing typically takes 3–7 business days for funds to reflect in your Klarna account. You are responsible for any scheduled payments during this time.
If a refund is incorrectly issued to a payment method other than Klarna, you will still owe Klarna for all remaining payments.
Afterpay Returns
Afterpay returns follow Foot Locker’s standard return process.
Once your return is processed:
- Your Afterpay installment schedule will be adjusted starting with the last payment and moving backward.
- If you return your entire purchase using the monthly payments option, amounts paid toward the goods will be refunded, but interest already paid is not refundable. You may still be charged interest while your refund is being processed.

In‑Store Return Policy
- With a valid receipt, unworn merchandise may be refunded or exchanged within 45 days of purchase.
- Without a receipt, unworn merchandise may be exchanged at the lowest selling price from the last 60 days. Verification via phone number and two‑factor authentication is required.
- All returns and exchanges may be limited or denied if misuse of the return policy is suspected.
